Balanced nutrition for plants with a long flowering period
Green House Powder Feeding Long, 10g-25kg is a water-soluble mineral powder fertiliser developed for plants with a long flowering period. Its NPK 18-12-18 formula combines nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium with magnesium and essential trace elements, providing nutrition throughout both growth and flowering. It can be used in soil as well as coco and hydro systems, with the concentration adjusted to the development stage, growing medium and source water.
NPK 18-12-18 for long growing cycles
The formula contains 18% total nitrogen, including 10% nitrate nitrogen and 8% ammoniacal nitrogen. It also provides 12% phosphorus pentoxide and 18% potassium oxide, giving nitrogen and potassium a 1:1 ratio. Magnesium is accompanied by boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc. Long Flowering therefore combines macro- and micronutrients in one water-soluble formula for the complete growth and flowering cycle. Water-soluble powder for soil, coco and hydro
The fertiliser is dissolved completely in water before being applied through irrigation water or a feeding system. According to the manufacturer, maximum solubility is 160 g/L of water, while 30 g/L is recommended when preparing concentrated stock solutions. In coco and hydro systems in particular, monitoring pH and EC allows the nutrient concentration to be adjusted to the plants, source water and growing conditions.
Adjust feeding to the water and growing conditions
For straightforward use with pre-fertilised soil, Green House Feeding gives an initial guideline of starting after around 2–4 weeks at 0.25 g/L. During vegetative growth this can gradually be increased to 0.7 g/L, followed by an increase to as much as 1 g/L from the beginning of flowering. The actual concentration should always be adapted to the plants, medium and source water.
When using reverse-osmosis or rainwater with an EC of 0.0, the manufacturer recommends additional calcium. In soil, this can be supplied with Green House Powder Feeding Calcium, while Green House Powder Feeding CalMag is intended for hydroponic applications. Normal tap water may already provide sufficient calcium.
