The 5 kg UGro Coco Block XL Organic is suitable for all types of plant cultivation, whether indoor or outdoor. With the addition of approx. 16 litres of water, up to 70 litres of the best coco substrate can be created.
Organic coco substrate
Only organic coco material is used in the production of this substrate. The block consists of fine coconut particles and contains very little fibre. The material is washed and sieved with clean, salt-free water before drying and pressing, this removes any excessively fine particles such as dust and dirt. The Coco Block XL Organic from UGro offers extremely good water storage properties and has a high content of natural Trichoderma fungi. The substrate has been certified by OMRI, a guarantee of a truly organic product.
Pore-free and environmentally friendly
All substrates in the UGro product range are produced entirely without peat, are biodegradable and therefore highly environmentally friendly. Disposal is also correspondingly natural and simple. The substrates used can easily be disposed of in the compost, the organic waste bin or in the vegetable patch. UGro sources its raw materials from Indian coconut plantations in the interior of the country. As a result, the substrates have a consistently low EC value or salt content. Pre-treatment with a buffer solution keeps the levels of potassium and sodium in the substrate to the necessary minimum.
Good buffering properties
UGro's substrates deliver the best results from the growth phase to flowering. The UGro Coco Block XL Organic has the same buffering and fault-tolerant properties as soil or soilless substrates, but can be used just as well as a substitute for rockwool or the like.
