With the new Generation 2 of its Q series, the Austrian firm SANlight has once again optimised its already outstanding LED plant light system. SANlight is the first manufacturer to use the 2mm² High Power Chip from Osram consistently in all available models. The results: 15% more light output for the same energy consumption rate! The experience with SANlight LEDs is consistently positive. The LED Grow Panels from SANlight generate consistently higher output at considerably lower operating costs as comparable HPS grow lights.
Just as its forerunner did, the second generation of the Q series impresses with its maximum efficiency with perfect light guidance. All models of Generation 2 are also dimmable, can be extended easily at a later stage and can be boosted by up to 10% where required.
It is no exaggeration to describe SANlight as the technical market leader in the area of high-efficency LED grow light systems for indoor growing. The lamps are developed and produced in Austria and set new standards in light output, reliability and durability.
No single photon is wasted
One of the outstanding features of the Q series from SANlight is the newly improved secondary lens on all lamps. Thanks to the precise 90° light guidance of this technology, hardly any light is lost and unused. More than 95% of the photons of the LED chip is captured and made usable for the plants. Your grow tent will be flooded evenly with light right into the corners. The new 2mm² chip technology from Osram also ensures the greatest possible efficiency in converting electrical energy into light.
Sanlight Gen 2 - noiselessly cool
The cooling for the Q series Gen2 is passive and noiseless through an extra-large aluminium cooling system. Even in very high ambient temperatures, the module is kept well cooled and thus continues to run accordingly efficiently and reliably.
No loss of performance due to dust and dirt
The soiling of older LEDS in the grow tent can very quickly lead to a noticeable loss in performance. And cleaning is very tricky, if at all possible. SANlight LEDs are protected from soiling by their exclusive secondary lens and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth when necessary. This way, SANlight LED modules can easily reach an incomparable lifespan of more than 100,000 hours!
Easy circuitry through daisy-chaining
The SANlight LEDs of the Q series can be daisy-chained, i.e. you can operate several SANlight LED modules connected one to the next. This allows an area of 0.36 m² to 7 m² to be illuminated simply and perfectly with only one mains plug. In addition, all models in the Q series Gen2 are now "ready to dim". You can choose between the reliable and cost-efficient M-Dimm variant and the dimmer via Bluetooth. The M-Dimmer works without network communication and can control every light individually. A sunrise simulation is also possible. The Bluetooth dimmer can be controlled conveniently via mobile phone or tablet and the lights can be controlled individually or in a cluster via the app. For larger grow tents in particular, the Bluetooth dimmer offers very professional, modern control.
Performance boosts and upgrades easily possible
The modules of the Q series Gen2 are also "ready to boost". When the performance and yield requirements grow, a SANlight distributor can boost the lights by another 10%. All lights in the Q series are also easily upgradable and can be replaced by modules of the latest generation.
Broadband and continual light spectrum
The LED modules of the Q series produce a broadband and continual light spectrum, which is specially attuned to the needs of fruitbearing plants. With the Q4WL - Gen2, you can very productively operate a grow tent of 120 x 120 cm with minimal energy consumption and even with little experience. (ECO set-up) The light spectrum produced is sufficient for the requirements of your plants in both the growth and the flowering phases.
Extension to the product range
With the Generation 2 of the Q series, SANlight has significantly extended its product range and provided all lamps with 15% more light output. The portfolio now ranges from the Q1 with 50 W to the Q6 with a powerful 245 W. The elongated L versions of the Q series are the legitimate successors of the previous SANlight S series.
All lamps of the generation are also equipped with the top-quality and tried-and-tested connectors from Wieland.
Eco set-up or Expert set-up
SANlight has developed two different set-ups for different requirements and past experience in indoor growing. With the Eco set-up, a similar yield is achieved as in growing with HPS lights. The energy consumption is reduced to the absolute minimum, however. The set-up costs are negligible and potential mistakes in the application are not so serious. A dimmer is not strictly necessary in the Eco set-up.For experienced growers, the Expert set-up delivers maximum yields in quality and quantity. The light density here is up to 25% higher than with HPS and energy costs are reduced by up to 35% with the Expert set-up. However, handling errors can quickly lead to deficiency symptoms and the Expert set-up should be operated with a dimmer under all circumstances.
