Plagron Promix for controlled organic feeding from day one

Plagron Promix, 50 litres, is an unfertilised peat substrate enriched with worm castings for controlled organic cultivation. It is intended for growers who prefer to build their nutrient programme from day one rather than rely on a fixed starter charge. Its low EC, fine texture and active soil life provide a manageable base for young and established plants.

No starter fertiliser, flexible nutrient control

As no fertiliser is added to the substrate, its initial nutrient content remains low. This lets you adapt feeding to the plant type, development stage and your chosen growing strategy. The lack of pre-fertilisation also means that nutrition must begin immediately. Plagron names Alga Grow as an example of an organic base nutrient from the first day; the exact dosage should follow the feeding schedule you use.

Airy peat structure with worm castings

Promix combines carefully selected peat types, fibrous material and added worm castings. The fibres keep the medium open and support air movement around the root zone, while the fine texture offers high water absorption. Worm castings encourage active soil life and provide a suitable biological foundation when you choose to grow with organic nutrients.

Low EC for a gentler start

The low EC is particularly helpful for young plants because it avoids a high initial salt concentration. Roots can therefore develop with less nutrient stress. As you build the feeding programme yourself, Promix can be used with a fixed schedule or adjusted according to plant response and measured values. The substrate is 100% organic and certified by Control Union.

Use and storage

Use Promix as a growing substrate and begin your chosen feeding programme on the first day. Store an opened bag in a dry place and keep the packaging tightly closed after use to protect the remaining substrate.
