Advanced Hydroponics Advanced Silica for stronger plant tissue and improved resilience

Advanced Hydroponics Advanced Silica is a concentrated liquid silicon supplement for plant cultivation. Its formulation contains a silicon dioxide solution with hydrolysed silicon and is suitable for both new and experienced growers. It can be used with all common growing media to support plant structure throughout vegetative growth and the early flowering stage.

Readily available silicon for roots and leaves

Advanced Silica supplies silicon in a hydrolysed form, also described as orthosilicic acid. Plants can absorb this form through both their roots and leaves. Silicon supports the formation of stronger cell walls and a more resilient epidermis. The supplement can therefore help reinforce the plant’s natural resistance to stress, fungi, infections and challenging weather conditions.

A useful addition to different growing media

Peat-based media and coco naturally contain very little silicon. Hydroponic granules may also contain silicon that is only partly available to plants. Advanced Silica therefore provides soil, peat, coco and hydroponic media with an accessible silicon source. Silicon can also support the uptake of other nutrients, including phosphorus, contributing to active root development and balanced plant growth.

Dosage and application period

Add 0.1 ml of Advanced Silica per litre of nutrient solution. Begin applying it during the vegetative stage and continue until flowering week five or six. Foliar application is also possible. Shake the product thoroughly before each use and measure the small dose as accurately as possible.
