Advanced Hydroponics Micro for controlled micronutrient supply

Advanced Hydroponics Micro is a mineral liquid fertiliser and the third component of Dutch Formula. Used with Advanced Hydroponics Grow and Bloom, it supplies plants throughout vegetative growth and flowering with chelated micronutrients alongside nitrogen, potassium and calcium. The formula is suitable for hydroponic systems, coco and soil. This lets you adjust the ratio of the three Dutch Formula components to each stage without changing to a different nutrient system for every growing medium.

Chelated micronutrients and pH buffers

Micro provides the trace-element component of the three-part nutrient range. Its micronutrients are chelated, helping to keep them available in the nutrient solution. Added pH buffers support solution stability. The component also contributes nitrogen, potassium and calcium to the mix. Its declared nutrient ratio is NPK 5-0-6 with an additional 6% CaO and micronutrients.

Designed for Grow and Bloom

The formulation is intended for combined use with Dutch Formula Grow and Bloom. The ratio between the three components changes with the plant's development, whilst Micro is used during both vegetative growth and flowering. Add the concentrates to water separately: Grow first, followed by Bloom and then Micro. Stir the nutrient solution thoroughly after every addition.

Stage-based dosing

Shake the container before use. In the current combination schedule, use 0.5 ml of Micro per litre of water in week 1, 1 ml/L in weeks 2–10 and 0.5 ml/L again in week 11. Half strength is specified for soil. The chart is based on inert media and source water with an EC of around 0.5 mS; the exact duration may vary with the crop and growing cycle. Check pH only after the solution is fully mixed. The intended range is pH 5.8–6.2.
