Advanced Hydroponics Grow for phase-specific nutrition during vegetative growth
Advanced Hydroponics Grow is the mineral nutrient component for vegetative growth within the three-part Dutch Formula from Advanced Hydroponics of Holland. It is added to irrigation water alongside Bloom and Micro, while the ratio of the three components is adjusted to the plant’s development stage. It suits growers who want structured control over base nutrition in hydroponic systems or substrate-based cultivation.
Component 1 of the Dutch Formula
Grow is intended mainly for the vegetative stage. The combined programme of Grow, Bloom and Micro supports strong, healthy plants and lush green foliage. During the transition into flowering, Grow initially remains part of the nutrient solution and is then phased out in line with the manufacturer’s schedule. This lets you alter the nutrient balance as the crop’s requirements change.
Suitable for different growing methods
The Dutch Formula is suitable for all types of growing media according to the manufacturer. You can therefore use Grow in hydroponic applications as well as substrate-based crops. The stated dosages are average figures for inert media and source water with an EC value of 0.5 mS. EC refers to the electrical conductivity of the water. Half strength is recommended for soil.
Dosage and mixing order
The feeding schedule specifies 1 ml of Grow per litre of water in week 1, 2 ml/L in weeks 2–3 and 1 ml/L during the first three weeks of flowering. Application should end 21–30 days after plants enter the twelve-hour flowering phase. Add Grow, Bloom and Micro to the water one at a time, stirring thoroughly after each addition. Check the pH only after mixing in the nutrients; the recommended range is 5.8–6.2.
