Advanced Hydroponics Bloom for balanced nutrition throughout flowering

Advanced Hydroponics Bloom is a mineral liquid fertiliser and the second component of the three-part Dutch Formula system. Used alongside Advanced Hydroponics Grow and Micro, it allows you to adjust the nutrient mix from vegetative growth through flowering. The structured feeding schedule provides clear guidance for newer growers, while the changing ratios give experienced cultivators greater control over their nutrient solution.

Flexible feeding with three components

Within the Dutch Formula system, Bloom provides the mineral nutrient component intended for flower development. Grow, Bloom and Micro are combined at different rates as the crop progresses through its growth cycle. This gradually changes the composition of the finished nutrient solution while retaining the same three base products. Bloom is designed as part of this system and should be used with Grow and Micro according to the manufacturer’s feeding schedule.

Suitable for different growing media

Advanced Hydroponics Bloom can be used in hydroponic systems and with coco, rockwool or soil. Dutch Formula is therefore suitable for precisely managed irrigation systems as well as conventional container growing. For plants cultivated in soil, the manufacturer recommends using half the strength stated in the standard feeding schedule.

Stage-specific dosage

The manufacturer’s schedule starts with 0.5 ml/L of Bloom, increasing to 1 ml/L during later vegetative growth, 2 ml/L in early flowering and 3 ml/L during the main flowering period. The dosage is then reduced to 1.5 ml/L before the finishing stage. Add the individual components to the water one after another and mix thoroughly following each addition. Check the completed nutrient solution afterwards. The manufacturer’s recommended pH range is 5.8–6.2. Plant type, development stage and source-water quality should also be considered when adjusting the feed.
