Hesi Starter Set für Hydro – stage-specific nutrition for hydroponic growth and flowering

The Hesi Starter Set für Hydro brings together seven liquid fertilisers and supplements for feeding plants in hydroponic systems. It suits beginners and experienced growers looking for a ready-selected introduction to the Hesi Hydro range. With two stage-specific base nutrients and five supporting products, the kit simplifies choosing feeds for the different stages of plant development.

Separate growth and flowering feeds, not an A/B system

Use Hesi Hydro Wuchs during vegetative growth, then switch to Hesi Hydro Blüte when flowering begins. Each is a complete one-part base nutrient. You select the product for the current growth stage rather than measuring separate A and B components for the base feed. The kit includes a 1-litre bottle of each.

Support for roots and growing media

Hesi Wurzel-Complex supports root development and helps plants through stressful changes, such as repotting or moving to a different location. Hesi PowerZyme contains enzymes that break down cellulose from dead plant material in the growing medium. Hesi SuperVit adds a highly concentrated blend of vitamins, amino acids and other plant-supporting compounds. These three supplements have distinct roles alongside the base nutrients.

Time Boost and PK 13/14 to the flowering stage

Hesi Boost is used during the transition to flowering and throughout the flowering phase. Its ingredients include plant and fruit extracts. Hesi PK 13/14 supplies additional phosphorus and potassium, with the dose increased gradually from the second half of flowering according to the feeding schedule. Both products supplement Hydro Blüte rather than replacing the base nutrient.

Follow the feeding schedule and check your solution

The standard dose for Hydro Wuchs and Hydro Blüte is 5 ml per litre of water during their respective stages. Each supplement has its own application rate and timing. Follow the included Hydro feeding schedule and product labels rather than adding every product at full strength at the same time.

Also check the pH and electrical conductivity, known as EC, of your nutrient solution. The pH guidance range is 5.8–6.2. Take your water quality, plant requirements and hydroponic system into account when assessing these readings.
