Grodan SBS 25/150 propagation tray – 150 rockwool plugs for organised propagation

The Grodan SBS 25/150 with plastic tray is a complete propagation system containing 150 individual rockwool plugs. It is suitable for propagation from seed as well as cuttings, giving you an organised way to raise a large number of young plants under comparable conditions. Each square plug measures 25 × 25 × 40 mm and is held within a shared plastic tray.

Consistent conditions during early plant development

The SBS plugs have a uniform density, firmness and fibre structure. This allows water, nutrients and pH to be distributed evenly through the rockwool material, helping you manage moisture consistently during germination and rooting. Plastic tray for controlled watering

The 530 × 318 mm plastic tray keeps all 150 propagation plugs neatly arranged. Openings in the bottom allow water to be taken up while excess moisture can drain away. This makes the tray suitable for use in propagation areas where irrigation and drainage are managed carefully. Easy transfer to the next growing stage

Once a strong root system has developed, each SBS plug can be removed from the tray and transferred into a suitable larger grow block. The 25 × 25 mm base size is designed for use with Grodan blocks featuring a corresponding 25 mm opening. One suitable next stage is the Grodan Delta 7.5 × 7.5 × 6.5 cm grow block with 25 mm opening. This allows the young plant to be moved together with its existing rooted plug.
