Floragard Professional Growmix 70 L – airy indoor potting substrate
Floragard Professional Growmix is a pre-fertilised potting soil designed for indoor plants. Its medium-coarse structure is formulated to balance air and water management in pots and is easy to re-wet after watering.
The substrate is suitable for potting and repotting, for example for many indoor foliage plants such as Monstera or Ficus, as well as other indoor crops.
Composition and properties
The mix of slightly to moderately decomposed white peat and strongly decomposed black peat combines structural stability with water storage. Perlite (volcanic rock) increases pore volume and supports aeration in the root zone.
A mineral multi-nutrient fertiliser plus trace elements supplies plants during the initial phase. In addition, Trichoderma cultures are included, which can support root development and may help plants become more resilient to stress factors.
How to use
Loosen the substrate before use. Choose pots with drainage holes and add a drainage layer if needed to reduce the risk of waterlogging. Water thoroughly after repotting, then keep evenly moist (not constantly wet).
For sowing and pricking out, a separate low-nutrient seed-starting mix is usually recommended. Depending on the plant type, pot size, and growth rate, start regular fertilising after about 3–4 weeks.
