CANNA Coco Professional Plus for controlled root-zone conditions

CANNA Coco Professional Plus, 50 litres, is a fully buffered coco substrate for fast-growing plants in pots and irrigated growing systems. It is suitable for new and experienced growers who want direct control over watering and nutrition. Its uniform flake structure combines high water-holding capacity with good air availability, helping to create predictable conditions around the roots.

Fully buffered and carefully processed

The substrate is made from 100% coco flakes produced from selected Indian coconuts. CANNA washes the material in fresh water to remove excess salts and fully buffers it. This reduces the unwanted nutrient binding associated with untreated coir. The substrate contains no chemical additives. Production is controlled from raw material sourcing through to the packaged product, with the R.H.P. quality mark documenting this oversight.

Balanced water and air capacity

With 73% water capacity and 23% air capacity, the medium can retain nutrient solution while preserving air-filled pores for the roots. Its 45% wood-cellulose content helps the physical characteristics remain stable over time. The consistent structure supports even wetting and makes the substrate suitable for both hand watering and automated irrigation systems.

Use in pots and irrigation systems

Use pots with adequate drainage holes and feed your plants with a nutrient solution formulated for coco. For larger plants, CANNA recommends a minimum pot volume of 5 litres. Larger containers help maintain more constant moisture levels and root-zone conditions.

Reusable coco growing medium

CANNA Coco Professional Plus can be used for several growing cycles. Afterwards, the coco material can be incorporated into soil as an improver or blended into other growing media. This allows the natural raw material to remain useful beyond its original application.
