Blumat Distribution Dripper Set for additional watering points throughout the root zone

The Blumat Distribution Dripper Set lets you extend the area watered by a Tropf-Blumat in a simple and flexible way. Instead of releasing water at a single point, you can distribute it across several locations within the root zone. This is particularly useful for larger plants, wide containers and longer planting areas. The set contains ten drippers in two versions together with 2 m of 3 mm drip tubing.

Multiple drip points from one Tropf-Blumat

According to Blumat, up to five distribution drippers can be connected to one Tropf-Blumat or Tropf-Blumat Maxi. This spreads the water over a larger area without requiring a separate watering sensor for every drip point. The eight standard distribution drippers allow the tubing to continue through the chain, while the two end distribution drippers are used to finish a dripper chain.

Flexible positioning around the root area

To build the drip chain, cut the supplied 3 mm tubing into suitable sections and connect the individual drippers. For a standard installation, Blumat recommends tubing sections of approximately 20 cm and a distance of around 8 cm between the Tropf-Blumat and the nearest distribution dripper. The completed chain can then be positioned around the plant roots. Blumat recommends mounting the drippers with a Blumat support for secure positioning.

Useful for large pots, planters and wider growing areas

The set is designed for situations where a single watering point does not cover enough of the growing medium. You can arrange several drip points around a large plant or distribute them along a planter. This makes it easy to adapt an existing Tropf-Blumat irrigation system to different container sizes and planting layouts while retaining the moisture-controlled operation of the main sensor.
