Atami ATA CALMAG – adjust your calcium and magnesium supply

Atami ATA CALMAG lets you add calcium and magnesium to your irrigation water or nutrient solution as needed. This fast-acting liquid mineral supplement also contains iron and works alongside your base fertiliser. It suits beginners and experienced growers looking to compensate for low calcium and magnesium levels in their source water.

For soft water, soil, coco and hydroponics

ATA CALMAG can be used in soil, coco and hydroponic systems. It is particularly useful when you are growing with soft or demineralised water and your plants need additional calcium and magnesium. The supplement is suitable for a range of vegetables, fruit crops and herbs, including tomatoes, peppers and strawberries.

Supporting cell walls and chlorophyll formation

Calcium contributes to the formation of plant cell walls. Magnesium is needed to produce chlorophyll, which enables plants to use light energy. ATA CALMAG supplements these nutrients rather than replacing a complete base fertiliser. The Atami nutrient range includes base feeds for different growing media.

Match the dose to your needs and account for nitrogen

Use 0.1–1 ml per litre of water, equivalent to 1–10 ml for 10 litres. Choose the amount according to your source water, crop requirements and feeding programme. Prepare the solution using water at approximately 21 °C.

ATA CALMAG contains 6% nitrogen by weight, so factor this additional nitrogen into your overall feeding programme. Suitable pH and EC meters help you check the finished nutrient solution. EC measures electrical conductivity and helps you assess the concentration of dissolved nutrient salts.
