Here we show how to connect the components of a ventilation set 160 ECO. The steps are approximately the same for other ventilation sets.

Note: Wiring work may be necessary. The connection should be carried out by authorised specialist personnel. The legal regulations (VDE guidelines) must always be followed. CRP Import - Export GmbH accepts no liability or warranty for damage to objects or persons caused by improper connection.

1. components of the ventilation set

First unpack the components. The exhaust air set consists of an aluminium flex hose for discharging the exhaust air, an activated carbon filter, a tube fan, two hose clamps and a connecting sleeve.
You may also have received a connection ring for optional installation on a wall duct. We do not need this here for the time being.

2. connecting the tube fan and the activated carbon filter

Connect the pipe fan to the activated carbon filter using the connecting sleeve and tighten the screws.

Important: Note the direction in which the pipe fan draws the air. This is indicated by an arrow on the pipe fan. The arrow should point upwards here so that the pipe fan draws in the used air through the activated carbon filter and then transports the filtered exhaust air further out.

3. Connect the Aluflex hose

Connect the Aluflex hose to the pipe fan. Then fix the Aluflex hose to the tube fan by placing a hose clamp around it and tightening it with a screwdriver. Note the direction of the arrow on the pipe fan in the direction of the hose.

Your ventilation set is now assembled!

5. installation of the ventilation set in the growbox

To install the exhaust kit in the growbox, lead the aluminium flex hose out of the growbox so that the exhaust air can leave the tent. Hang the activated carbon filter and the connected tube fan as high as possible in the grow box. To do this, you can use the grow box's carrying straps to hang the exhaust kit from the grow box's ceiling rods. Both the activated carbon filter and the tube fan should be hung and secured to the growbox ceiling linkage with two carrying straps each. If the model of your growbox was not supplied with four carrying straps (e.g. Hydro Shoot) you can also use rope pull ratchets for this.
