Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy – carbohydrate support for roots and flowering

Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy is a liquid carbohydrate supplement with magnesium for plants grown in soil, coco or hydroponic systems. Used alongside your base nutrients, it is designed to nourish beneficial root-zone microorganisms and support flower and aroma development. It suits beginners and experienced growers working indoors or outdoors.

Carbohydrates for microbes and magnesium for plants

The formula combines simple and complex carbohydrates from five different sources to feed beneficial microorganisms around the roots. This makes Bud Candy a useful companion to Advanced Nutrients Voodoo Juice, which introduces beneficial bacteria into the root zone. Magnesium supports the production of chlorophyll, the green pigment in leaves, and therefore photosynthesis.

Fits into your existing feeding programme

Bud Candy is an additive, not a replacement for a complete base fertiliser. It can be combined with Advanced Nutrients base nutrients, including the pH Perfect ranges, as well as base nutrients from other manufacturers. It is suitable for hand watering and hydroponic irrigation systems, including drip irrigation, flood and drain, and deep water culture.

Dosage during growth and flowering

Add 2 ml of Bud Candy per litre of water or nutrient solution. For a 10-litre batch, this works out at 20 ml. The feeding schedule covers vegetative weeks 1–4 and flowering weeks 1–7, with no application during the final flush. Also follow the feeding programme for your chosen base nutrients. Store the container upright and tightly closed at 5–35 °C in a dry, well-ventilated place.
