Advanced Nutrients Big Bud is a liquid bloom booster that provides additional nutrition as your plants develop their flowers. Its combination of phosphorus, potassium and L-amino acids supports the formation of strong, compact blooms. Suitable for beginners and experienced growers working indoors or outdoors, it complements a complete base fertiliser rather than replacing one.

A potassium-focused formula with L-amino acids

Big Bud has an NPK composition of 0-1-3 and supplies readily available forms of phosphorus and potassium. This allows you to supplement your base feed with nutrients for the flowering stage. The formula also includes L-amino acids, which serve as building blocks for proteins. It therefore combines a mineral PK supplement with amino acids that are important for developing plant structures.

Suitable for different growing media and feeding programmes

Big Bud can be used in soil, coco coir and hydroponic cultivation. It suits hand watering as well as systems such as drip irrigation, flood and drain, and deep water culture. For a feeding programme specifically tailored to coco coir, Advanced Nutrients Big Bud Coco provides an alternative.

The bloom booster is compatible with pH Perfect and conventional base nutrients. For example, pH Perfect Sensi Bloom A+B can provide the foundation of your flowering feed. Keep the total nutrient input consistent with your feeding programme rather than dosing additional boosters independently.

Apply at 2 ml per litre during flowering

Shake the container before use and add 2 ml of Big Bud per litre of water. For 10 litres of water, this works out at 20 ml. The recommended application period is the second to fifth week of flowering. Follow the instructions on your container and the feeding chart for your chosen base nutrients.

Once the Big Bud application period has finished, a coordinated feeding programme can move on to Advanced Nutrients Overdrive for late flowering. This places the two supplements in sequence, each during its intended stage of flower development.
