ThermoLux heat mat 25x35 cm, 15W

ThermoLux heat mat – bottom heat for your propagation area

The ThermoLux heat mat 25 × 35 cm, 15 W provides warmth from below for cuttings and young plants. Designed for use with small propagators and propagation trays, it supplies additional heat to the root zone when your growing area is cool. It is a practical addition when rooting cuttings or raising young plants.

A compact heating area for propagation trays

The mat distributes heat evenly across its 25 × 35 cm surface. Position it beneath a suitable propagation tray or an appropriately sized propagator. You will find additional trays and accessories for your setup in our plant propagation supplies range.

Waterproof construction for damp surroundings

Made in Germany, the mat combines a waterproof construction with water-resistant and rot-resistant material. A protective earth conductor is incorporated across the full surface as part of its electrical design.

Monitor temperature and prevent heat build-up

The mat’s surface temperature is not necessarily the temperature of your growing medium. For temperature-based control, you can use a separately purchased Romberg Thermostat HortiSwitch. It switches connected heating equipment on and off according to the measured temperature.

Check how much heat develops before extended use and follow the operating instructions. Heavy covering can cause heat to build up, so excess warmth must be able to escape. Keep the mat flat without creasing or folding it, and do not use it as an electric blanket.
