Control temperature and lighting separately – Romberg HortiSwitch Thermostat
The Romberg HortiSwitch is a digitally controlled thermostat with a temperature sensor and an integrated timer. It allows you to manage both temperature and lighting for propagation, greenhouses, or grow environments using a single device.
Functions and use
In HEAT mode, the HortiSwitch switches connected heating devices on and off based on temperature (e.g., heating mats, heating cables, or fan heaters). In COOL mode, it can control an external cooling device (e.g., a fan or air conditioner).
You can set day and night temperatures separately. The changeover between day/night is defined via the timer settings. In addition, a timer function is available for a separate, time-controlled socket.

Important notes for use
The HortiSwitch is not suitable for high inductive loads (e.g., magnetic ballasts). For discharge lamps (e.g., sodium vapor lamps), only electronic ballasts should be used.
Practical for everyday use: the device is delivered with the key lock enabled and can automatically lock again when not in use. Also note that the clock does not automatically adjust for daylight saving time.
