Odor filter for DF16 exhaust – 150 m³/h, 160 mm connection
The Secret Jardin CTC80 activated carbon filter is designed for grow tents with a 60 × 60 cm footprint and can be mounted directly on a DF16 extractor. The 3 cm thick activated carbon layer (CTC80) cleans the exhaust air of unwanted odors. An additional pre-filter fleece protects against coarse contamination.
Installation & mounting
Installation is done in just a few seconds using the DF16 adapter ring and requires no tools – either on the DF16 extractor or directly on the DuctingFlange. To save space inside the grow tent, you can mount the filter inside and place the exhaust fan outside.
Design & materials
Inside the filter is a 3 cm thick layer of CTC80 activated carbon with a 3 mm granule size (total of 1 kg). The housing is made of flame-retardant, glass-fiber reinforced polyamide, keeping the filter lightweight despite the carbon filling.
Maintenance & operating notes
The pre-filter fleece should be cleaned or replaced regularly to maintain consistent airflow. Do not wash the activated carbon filter itself. If odors start to pass through again despite a clean pre-filter, or if airflow drops significantly, replacement is recommended.
