The Secret Jardin Rubber Duct Connector joins an extractor fan directly to a carbon filter while reducing the transfer of fan vibrations. This rubber sleeve suits both first-time and experienced indoor growers, whether you are assembling a new grow tent extraction system or replacing an existing connection.
Limit vibration transfer through your extraction system
The rubber helps dampen vibrations passing from the fan to connected components. This can reduce vibration-related noise in your extraction system. Alongside its role as a mechanical connector, the sleeve therefore provides a vibration-damping connection between the fan and filter.
Choose the size that matches your connections
Select a connector to match the connections on your extractor fan and carbon filter. The available sizes are 100, 125, 150, 200 and 250 mm. The 150 mm version, RD150, accepts connections measuring 150–160 mm. The 100–250 mm designation refers to the choice of sizes, not the adjustment range of a single connector.
The nominal connection size differs from the sleeve's actual internal diameter. Also check the external diameter and width of your chosen version against the space available for installation.
Secure installation with the supplied hose clamps
The included hose clamps fasten the sleeve around the connection spigots. With the correct size and fit, this creates a firm, sealed joint. Each purchase contains one connector in your chosen size, rather than a set of all five versions.
