S&P TD350/125 duct fan for quiet extraction with two speed settings
The S&P TD350/125 quiet duct fan is the TD-350/125 SILENT from Soler & Palau. This sound-insulated mixed-flow duct fan is designed for supply and extraction through round 125 mm ducting and is particularly useful in grow tents and other installations where low operating noise matters. Its two speed settings provide a free-air airflow of 330 or 260 m³/h while drawing 27 or 21 W respectively.
Sound-insulated construction for quieter operation
The PP plastic housing combines sound-absorbing construction with aerodynamically designed airflow guidance. This helps reduce both airflow and motor noise within the fan. Depending on the selected speed, the sound pressure level from the casing is 23 or 18 dB(A) at a distance of three metres. The ABS plastic impeller is statically and dynamically balanced for smooth operation.
125 mm connections for a matched extraction system
Both the inlet and outlet have 125 mm connections fitted with rubber lip seals to help limit vibration transfer. This makes the fan easy to integrate into a suitably sized extraction system. For odour filtration, you can combine it with a PrimaKlima carbon filter with a 125 mm connection. Suitable flexible and insulated ventilation ducting is available for routing the extracted air.
Speed control and service-friendly design
The integrated mounting bracket provides a practical fixing point for installation on a suitable surface. For cleaning or servicing, the motor unit can be removed without dismantling the connected ductwork. The external terminal box has a cable entry that can be rotated through 360°. In addition to the fan's two motor speeds, transformer-based speed control can be used. The Sentera STR-1-15 A 5-level step transformer provides stepped adjustment of the fan output. Transformer control changes the motor voltage in stages, allowing airflow and operating noise to be adapted to the requirements of the ventilation system. Electrical connection should be carried out correctly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
