The PK Silenced WHSP 3-Speed inline fan (also known as the Prima Klima Whisperblower) is a 3-speed, noise-optimized inline/radial fan for 125 mm ventilation systems. Its aerodynamically optimized housing and redesigned impeller geometry are engineered to deliver high airflow at low power consumption – while remaining significantly quieter than conventional inline fans of comparable performance.

3 Power Levels: Quick and Easy Adjustment

The fan can be operated at three fixed speed levels – ideal if you want to switch between “quiet”, “normal”, and “maximum” output depending on temperature, filter condition, or time of day. Switching is done directly on the unit.

• Level I: 300 m³/h
• Level II: 420 m³/h
• Level III: 530 m³/h

Noise Level: Measured Values per Setting

For realistic comparison, Prima Klima has published official noise measurements. Depending on the selected level, the sound pressure level is:

• 300 m³/h: 38 dB
• 420 m³/h: 46 dB
• 530 m³/h: 50 dB

Note: Measurements were taken with a sound pressure microphone at a distance of 1 m to the side of the fan, installed in an open duct on both sides (1.5 m each). In real-world use, factors such as carbon filters, duct length, bends, vibration isolation, and mounting method can significantly affect perceived noise levels.

High-Quality Motor & Robust Housing

Inside, the fan features a premium ebm-papst AC motor. The housing is made of impact-resistant, flame-retardant polyamide (nylon) and is designed for long-term continuous operation. Connections and controls are neatly integrated into the housing, making installation in ventilation systems straightforward and clean.

More System Performance: Optimized for Filters & Ducting

In real-world setups with carbon filters, ducting, bends, or longer pipe runs, not only free-air airflow but also pressure performance matters. The Whisperblower design is optimized to reduce performance losses caused by static pressure. According to data for the Whisperblower series, up to 40 % more air circulation and up to 20 % improved performance under static pressure (e.g. from duct length and bends) are possible.
