Easy propagation with Jiffy peat pellets
The peat pellets are made from compressed, nutrient-rich peat and are activated by watering. This gives you a compact, easy-to-handle growing medium for seedlings and cuttings that is clean to use and simple to position.
Once roots become visible, place the expanded pellet as a whole into a larger plant container. The thin protective net stabilizes the pellet and makes transplanting easier.
Application
- Place the peat pellet in a tray and cover with water.
- Allow to expand for approx. 5 minutes, then gently squeeze out excess water.
- Insert the seed or cutting and lightly press the substrate.
- Place in a warm, bright location and keep evenly moist (do not overwater).
- Once roots have fully developed, plant together with the pellet.
Note: When transplanting, completely cover the pellet with soil to prevent it from drying out. If the protective net is in the way at the top, you can carefully cut it open in the upper area.
Compatibility
Suitable for use in standard seed trays and mini greenhouses. Ideal if you want to continue growing seedlings or cuttings in soil or other substrates.
