Hesi TNT-Complex – feeding for strong vegetative growth in soil and coco

Hesi TNT-Complex is a liquid base fertiliser for the vegetative stage in soil and coco substrates. It supplies nutrients while your plants develop leaves and shoots, whether you grow indoors or outdoors. Mixed into the watering solution, it offers a straightforward feeding routine for beginners and experienced growers alike. It is suitable for young plants and for maintaining mother plants over longer periods.

NPK 3-2-3 with predominantly organically bound nitrogen

The formulation combines macronutrients and trace elements with additional plant-supporting compounds. Most of its nitrogen is organically bound, contributing to a relatively low salt content and low EC reading. When measuring your feed, do not rely on EC alone: this reading describes the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution.

Organically bound nitrogen does not make the whole product an organic fertiliser. TNT-Complex is not part of the Bio Hesi range.

How to use and dose Hesi TNT-Complex

For standard feeding, mix 5 ml per litre of water, equivalent to 50 ml per 10 litres. Use half this amount for very young seedlings or cuttings: 2.5 ml per litre. The reduced rate also applies when feeding continuously over longer periods.

Newly germinated seedlings initially draw on nutrients stored in the seed. Base the start of feeding on their development and existing nutrient supply rather than automatically adding fertiliser from the first day.

Feeding frequency and the switch to flowering nutrients

The Hesi feeding schedule recommends fertilising soil-grown plants once or twice a week. In coco, nutrients are added at each necessary watering. Water according to actual demand: plant species, plant size and container volume all affect how much water is needed.

When flowering begins, replace TNT-Complex with the appropriate base feed. For soil, use a Hesi flowering fertiliser for soil; for coco substrates, switch to Hesi Coco for the flowering stage.
