Hesi Wurzel-Complex – support root development and help plants establish

Hesi Wurzel-Complex is a liquid root stimulator for propagation and for supporting plants during stressful periods. Used alongside an appropriate feeding programme, it encourages root development and helps plants establish. Suitable for beginners and experienced growers, the supplement can be used in soil, coco and hydroponic systems.

When to start using Wurzel-Complex

You can introduce the root booster to unrooted cuttings and young plants. It also supports plants as they adjust after repotting or moving to a different location. Choose suitable soils and growing media to match your cultivation method.

Dosage and application frequency

The standard dose is 5 ml per litre of water, equivalent to 50 ml per 10 litres. For long-term, frequent use, reduce this to 2.5 ml per litre. Measure the supplement according to the volume of water you are preparing, then mix it into the irrigation water.

For young plants, apply once or twice a week until they are growing well. For stress support, the Hesi schedule specifies one or two applications in total. Continue to water according to your plants’ actual requirements rather than adding an extra watering simply to apply the booster.

Ingredients and use alongside base nutrients

Wurzel-Complex combines micronutrients, vitamins, amino acids and other plant-active substances. It is a supplementary booster rather than a complete NPK fertiliser, so it does not replace either mineral or organic base nutrients. During vegetative growth, it can be used alongside Hesi TNT-Complex in soil and coco. For hydroponic cultivation, Hesi Hydro Wuchs is the corresponding growth nutrient.

There is no need to add Wurzel-Complex when using Hesi HousePlant Elixir, as the relevant plant-active substances are already included.

Choosing a container size and storing it correctly

Choose from 500 ml, 1 L, 2.5 L, 5 L, 10 L and 20 L. At the standard dose, a 500 ml container provides enough product for 100 litres of irrigation water. Keep the product tightly closed in its original container, in a cool, dark and frost-free place.
