With a ball valve you can quickly close individual PE drip hoses of your irrigation system. If, for example, an area of your grow does not need water for a while, this gives you the opportunity to temporarily take it out of the system. Ball valves are extremely robust and will not be clogged by lime or nutrients. Therefore they are especially suitable for indoor and outdoor growing. Your main line only needs a fitting with 3/4 inch male thread at the end.

Application Notes:

Screw the ball valve tightly onto the 3/4 " connection of the supply line. Then put the drip tube on the nipple.
