CarbonActive Homeline Carbon Filter 1000 m³/h, 200 mm

Effective odor binding with activated carbon: The CarbonActive Homeline filter, 1000ZL m3/h, Ø 200 mm, offers you particularly effective neutralization of unpleasant grow odors. It uses tiny, activated carbon particles with a diameter of 0.4 to 0.8 millimeters: This small size increases the odor-neutralizing surface area by a factor of 10,000, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the filter performance. Thanks to this special design, the CarbonActive filter is significantly smaller, lighter, and more efficient than conventional activated carbon filters. 

Lower pressure loss thanks to innovative design 

Thanks to its well thought-on design, the CarbonActive Homeline guarantees you lower pressure loss. This means that the air flow rate in your system is higher, and the performance of your fan is not impaired.

Our tip: The cubic meter capacity of the filter should be 20% higher than the capacity of the fan. This reduces pressure loss by almost 50% and guarantees optimum filter performance. 

How to extend the service life of the CarbonActive filter 

Dirt particles in the air clog the pores of the activated carbon and thus impair the performance of the filter. You should therefore always use a suitable pre-filter fleece and replace it regularly to extend the service life of the filter. You can find our range of pre-filter fleeces here.

Important: Microparticles, such as those produced by smoking, can also pass through the pre-filter unhindered. Therefore, avoid smoking near the filter at all costs. When cleaning, you should disconnect the filter from the ventilation system so that harmful micro-dust is not sucked in and damages the fan. 

Excessive humidity also impairs the absorption capacity of the activated carbon. Therefore, ensure that this value never exceeds 65%. If you use an ultrasonic water atomizer for air humidification, the lime contained in the water is released. It cannot be retained by the pre-filter and then settles on the activated carbon. Therefore, only use lime-free water for humidification.
