Canna pH Down Bloom 10% for controlled pH reduction during flowering

Canna pH Down Bloom 10%, 1 litre is a liquid pH regulator designed to lower an excessively high pH in nutrient solutions during the flowering stage. The solution contains 10% phosphoric acid and allows the nutrient solution to be adjusted gradually to the required pH level. Maintaining an appropriate pH helps keep nutrients in the solution available to the plants.

Controlled pH adjustment during flowering

CANNA recommends adding the regulator to the nutrient reservoir in small amounts. After each addition, mix the solution thoroughly before measuring again. The manufacturer's current instructions specify small additions of 5 ml until the required level is reached, with pH 6.2 given as the target value. Suitable equipment for monitoring the solution is available among the pH and EC meters and regulators, while further adjustment products can be found under pH correction.

Developed for the generative stage

During flowering, CANNA uses phosphoric acid for lowering pH, distinguishing Canna pH Down Bloom from regulators intended for vegetative growth. There is an important exception for CANNA COCO nutrient solutions: CANNA recommends using CANNA pH- throughout the complete growing cycle rather than pH- Bloom, as phosphoric acid can react with calcium and cause precipitation. Other products from the same range are available with the Canna fertilisers and nutrients.

Measure carefully and handle safely

As this product contains phosphoric acid and is corrosive, suitable protective clothing should be worn during handling and contact with skin or eyes should be avoided. Keep the container securely stored and out of reach of children. For reliable adjustment, always allow the nutrient solution to mix thoroughly before taking another pH reading.
