California Wonder Chilli Seeds for large, mild peppers with no heat

California Wonder Chilli Seeds allow you to grow a classic heat-free Capsicum annuum variety with large, bell pepper-shaped fruits. The bushy plants produce green peppers that gradually turn red as they fully ripen. With a heat rating of 0 Scoville, California Wonder is well suited to growers who want aromatic peppers without chilli heat. Each pack contains 10 seeds for raising plants in pots, a greenhouse or a sheltered, sunny outdoor position.

Mild peppers for a wide range of dishes

The blocky fruits grow to approximately 11 × 9 cm and develop a fruity, aromatic and gently sweet flavour. They can be harvested while still green or left on the plant until fully red. Warm conditions for reliable germination

Sowing is recommended from February to April, with a germination temperature of 20–28 °C. When starting seeds early in the season, a propagator can make it easier to maintain warm and stable conditions. Bushy growth for pots and outdoor cultivation

California Wonder develops a bushy growth habit and reaches up to approximately 70 cm in height. The maturation period is around 80 days. Plants benefit from a bright, sunny and warm position. Growing in pots can be particularly convenient, as plants can be moved to a protected location more easily when temperatures fall. Regular watering while avoiding waterlogging helps maintain healthy root development throughout the growing period.
