BioBizz Worm-Humus, 40 litres – organic soil improver for active growing media

BioBizz Worm-Humus, 40 litres is an organic soil improver made from pure worm castings, also known as vermicast. It can be used to enrich existing growing media, refresh previously used soil or prepare garden ground for planting. The worm humus adds organic matter, water-soluble nutrients and bacteria to the soil and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Pure worm castings from a controlled process

BioBizz produces Worm-Humus from 100% pure organic worm castings. According to the manufacturer, the material is laboratory tested for purity. The earthworms used in the production process are fed a controlled diet of rock minerals and organic potato peelings. The resulting organic soil improver adds humus-rich material and supports biological activity within the soil.

For refreshing and blending growing media

Worm-Humus is particularly useful for refreshing previously used soil and as an addition to new growing media blends. BioBizz recommends mixing 10–15% Worm-Humus with 85–90% growing medium. This makes it suitable for refreshing used BioBizz All-Mix or combining with suitable growing media when preparing your own blend. It can also be incorporated when preparing garden soil for planting.

Organic matter and analysed nutrient content

The product declaration specifies 0.54% total nitrogen, 0.15% total phosphate and 0.26% total potassium oxide. It also contains 0.13% magnesium and 0.16% sulphur, while organic matter accounts for 54.8%. Worm-Humus is therefore best regarded as an organic soil amendment and supplementary nutrient source rather than a complete stand-alone feeding programme for every crop.
