The AutoPot AQUAbox Spyder is particularly suitable for watering square raised beds and very large planters. It has several outlets for the capillary mats and thus enables a star-shaped water supply around the box.

Watering without electricity thanks to AQUAvalve 5 and capillary mats

Like the AutoPot system for watering pots, the AQUAbox Spyder works completely without electricity and is therefore perfect for use in outdoor grows. You have no electricity costs and can be confident that your irrigation system will work reliably without constant monitoring. Since AutoPot uses natural gravity, only the tank needs to be higher than the AQUAbox - the sophisticated AQUAvalve 5 in conjunction with the capillary mats does the rest.

Regular alternation of dry and wet cycles

The AQUAvalve 5 simulates the natural alternation of wet and dry cycles, creating a healthy soil climate for your plants. The natural alternation of these cycles promotes root growth and prevents the soil from becoming permanently oversaturated with water. The capillary mat absorbs the water from the AQUAbox and releases it evenly into the soil. The AQUAbox Spyder is supplied with a capillary mat 6 meters long and 1.5 centimeters wide. You can divide the mat into several pieces and lay them in the ground in a star shape starting from the AQUAbox. This allows you to water large areas of around 1.2 square meters.

Maintenance-free operation combined with high reliability

By dispensing with electrical and electronic controls, the AQUAbox Spyder offers a high level of operational reliability and generally does not require maintenance during a complete growing cycle. The AQUAvalve 5 has large holes that do not clog and is therefore well suited for most organic fertilisers. If you make the water tank large enough, you can supply your plants with nutrient solution for several weeks without any problems - perfect if you are going on holiday for a longer period, for example!
