Advanced Nutrients Overdrive – targeted nutrition for the final weeks of flowering

Advanced Nutrients Overdrive is a liquid mineral bloom booster designed for late flowering. Used alongside your regular feeding programme, it provides supplementary nutrition to support continued flower development before the final flush. It suits both beginners and experienced growers working indoors or outdoors.

Phosphorus, potassium and magnesium alongside your base feed

Overdrive has an NPK ratio of 1-5-4 and also contains magnesium. Its formulation focuses on the nutritional needs of late flowering, when flowers can continue to gain weight. It supplements your base nutrients rather than replacing a complete feed. One compatible option is Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Bloom.

Application rate and timing in your flowering schedule

The recommended application rate is 2 ml of Overdrive per litre of water or nutrient solution, equivalent to 20 ml for 10 litres. The manufacturer's standard schedule places Overdrive in flowering weeks 6 and 7, with no further application during the following flush. For plants with a different flowering duration, follow the appropriate feeding schedule and the directions on the product label.

This timing distinguishes Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients Big Bud for early to mid flowering. The two supplements have different roles within the feeding programme: Big Bud is used earlier, while Overdrive follows during late flowering.

For soil, coco and hydroponic irrigation

Overdrive can be used in soil, coco substrates and hydroponic growing systems. It is suitable for hand watering as well as drip irrigation, aeroponics, NFT, flood and drain, and deep water culture. It is compatible with pH Perfect base nutrients and other commonly used base feeds. When preparing your nutrient solution, account for the combined nutrient input from both your base feed and any supplements.
