Adjust-A-Wings Defender White Medium for broad and even light distribution
The Adjust-A-Wings Defender White, Medium is an adjustable wing reflector designed for indoor horticultural lighting. Its two reflector wings spread light across a broad growing area, while their adjustable span allows the reflector shape to be adapted to different setups. The Medium version is suitable for 400–600 W HPS and metal halide lamps as well as compatible CFL lamps with an E40 base.
Titanium-white surface for diffuse reflection
The reflector is made from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium with a heat-resistant titanium-white polymer coating. Rather than producing a highly concentrated mirror-like reflection, the white surface diffuses the incoming light across the growing area. Adjustable wings for different growing areas
The Defender Medium can be adjusted between 58 and 72 cm in width, allowing you to alter the reflector profile to suit the required light spread. Its specified illuminated area is up to 2.63 m². At approximately 1.35 kg, the reflector remains relatively lightweight and can be suspended using the supplied tension cables.
E40 holder for traditional horticultural lamps
A height-adjustable ceramic E40 lamp holder is supplied with the reflector. The Defender Medium is intended for 400–600 W HPS and metal halide lamps with an E40 base and can also be used with suitable E40 CFL lamps. HPS and metal halide lamps require a compatible ballast in addition to the reflector. Further components for a complete setup are available in the grow lighting range. Electrical wiring is required, so installation should be carried out by an authorised professional in accordance with the applicable electrical regulations.
