Purolyt – disinfection for tools, water and your growing area

Purolyt is a liquid disinfectant concentrate based on hypochlorous acid (HOCl). Diluted to suit the task, it is used to disinfect surfaces, gardening tools, irrigation water and inert growing media. It supports a practical hygiene routine for beginners and experienced growers working indoors or outdoors.

Disinfect tools and surfaces thoroughly

Regular disinfection of cutting tools helps prevent pathogens from being transferred between plants. Clean surfaces mechanically first, then wet them completely with the diluted solution. Spraying is useful for areas that are difficult to reach, using equipment such as the AquaKing 2-litre pressure sprayer. Components with cavities can be immersed, while pipes and hoses can be flushed through.

Treat water systems and inert growing media

Purolyt works against unwanted bacteria, fungi and algae. It also removes biofilms and helps prevent them from forming again in water-carrying systems. For water disinfection, add the required quantity directly to the water. Inert growing media can be treated before reuse, using a different dosage from the one specified for water disinfection.

Match the dilution to the application

Measure the concentrate with a 20 ml dosing syringe, for example. Use purified water, such as distilled or reverse osmosis water, for spraying and fogging. In hydroponic systems, allow 2 hours after water disinfection before adding organic fertilisers, enzymes or microorganisms. Follow the instructions for use for the appropriate dosage, contact time and application frequency.
