Plagron Sugar Royal – amino acids for flavour and aroma

Plagron Sugar Royal is a concentrated, amino acid-based NPK fertiliser of organic origin. It is suitable for both new and experienced growers who want to support plants cultivated in peat or coco throughout the growing cycle. Its blend of 18 amino acids contributes to metabolic processes involved in the formation of aromatic terpenes.

18 amino acids to support terpene production

Plants can produce amino acids themselves, but doing so requires energy and nutrients. Sugar Royal supplies 18 different amino acids directly, allowing the plant to use these building blocks in a range of metabolic processes. These include the formation of enzymes and precursors involved in terpene production. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that contribute to the characteristic flavour and scent of the final crop.

Straightforward use throughout the growing cycle

Shake Sugar Royal thoroughly before each use. Add no more than 1 ml per litre of water and apply the prepared nutrient solution whenever you water throughout the cultivation period. A 10 ml dosing syringe helps measure small quantities accurately. Sugar Royal is intended to complement a balanced base feeding programme. Further compatible options are available in the range of Plagron nutrients and additives.

Suitable for peat and coco with optional foliar use

The additive can be used with all peat and coco substrates. Sugar Royal may also be applied as a foliar fertiliser, although leaves and flowers should no longer be sprayed after the third week of flowering. It can be combined with Plagron Green Sensation, as the two additives perform different functions. When applying Sugar Royal through an irrigation system, flush the pipes after use. Due to its organic origin, the product is not suitable for NFT, DWC or aeroponic growing methods.
