Nutriculture Oxypot Single – compact Deep Water Culture for one plant

The Nutriculture Oxypot Single DWC-System is a compact hydroponic system designed for one plant. It uses the Deep Water Culture principle, or DWC, where the roots grow directly in an oxygen-rich nutrient solution and have continuous access to water and dissolved nutrients. Its straightforward design makes it suitable for growers discovering DWC as well as experienced users building a compact hydroponic setup.

Direct access to water, nutrients and oxygen

In a DWC system, the roots remain immersed in the nutrient solution. An air stone connected to an air pump continuously aerates the water, maintaining oxygen around the root zone. This method does not require a separate irrigation pump or timed watering cycles. The nutrient level and solution parameters should nevertheless be checked regularly throughout the grow.

Add the required aeration separately

This version of the Oxypot Single is supplied without an air pump or air stone. Continuous aeration therefore needs to be added before using the system as intended. Compact design with minimal growing medium

The reservoir has a total tank volume of 19 litres, with approximately 15 litres available up to the base of the net pot. The 0.8-litre net pot needs only a small quantity of stable hydroponic medium to support the plant. Suitable options are available in the clay pebbles range. A side-mounted water-level indicator makes it easier to monitor the reservoir, while the access opening in the lid allows convenient checks of the nutrient solution.
