The Mild Spiral Chilli lives up to its name! It is a really mild variety that you can use for salads, for example. The taste is quite aromatic and because it is only slightly hot, you can eat the fruits directly from the plant, grill them or pickle them. This variety originates from Hungary, is quite productive, ripens early and is a real eye-catcher with its long, spiral-shaped pods.
Germination and growing
To get this variety to germinate, you should provide them with an environment with a temperature between 22 and 28 °C. A heated greenhouse is ideal for this. Whether you pre-germinate the seeds in two layers of kitchen roll or let them grow directly in soil is entirely up to you. When you place the seedlings in pots, you should use a well-fertilised and airy soil and make sure that the water does not accumulate. Chilli plants need a lot of sun for their development and certain minimum temperatures for the ripening of the fruits. Therefore, place them in a suitable place where they get at least 6-8 hours of sunlight.
