The coconut blocks from Jiffy are made of pure coconut and are extremely easy to handle. Simply water them briefly - they swell up and are ready for use. They have very good drainage properties and a particularly good air-water ratio due to their structure. Young plants take root quickly and seeds germinate well without the risk of moulding. Unlike rock wool cubes, the Jiffy coconut blocks can be recycled in an environmentally friendly way and are easy to dispose of in organic waste or compost after use.
