Description

Integra Boost Cure Pack – consistent humidity for storage & curing

The Integra Boost Cure Pack is a humidity regulator designed for sealed containers such as jars, tins, humidors, or airtight bags. The packs work bi-directionally: if the environment is too dry, moisture is released; if it is too humid, excess moisture is absorbed. The result is a stable 55% or 62% relative humidity (depending on the variant), helping to prevent overdrying and moisture fluctuations.

What exactly is a “Cure Pack”?

In practice, a “Cure Pack” refers to a Boost Pack combined with an indicator card. The card provides a clear visual signal for replacement: blue = replace.

Which humidity level is right for you?

55% RH (drier environment)

If you prefer a slightly drier environment or are aiming for long-term storage, the 55% option is often ideal. It introduces less moisture than the 62% version.

62% RH (more moisture / “softer” feel)

The 62% variant allows more humidity inside the container. This can be beneficial if contents dry out quickly or if a slightly more flexible, moisture-rich condition is desired.

Choosing the right size: 8g or 67g

To ensure effective performance and avoid under-sizing, the following manufacturer guidelines apply:

  • 8g pack: recommended for 12–28g of contents
  • 67g pack: recommended for up to 1 lb (~453g) of contents

Pro tip: If you are between two sizes, choosing the larger pack is usually the better option. Larger or additional packs do not cause issues, as the system naturally balances itself and often reaches equilibrium faster.

How to use Integra Boost correctly

  1. Remove the overwrap (clear outer packaging) and place the pack inside the container.
  2. Add the Replacement Indicator Card to the same container.
  3. Seal the container tightly to allow the pack to regulate humidity to the printed target level.

When should the pack be replaced?

  • When the dot on the indicator card turns solid blue, it is time to replace the pack.
  • Conveniently, the indicator card is included by default with Integra Boost products.

Expected lifespan

  • Unopened (in original wrap): up to 2 years shelf life from production date.
  • After opening: typically several months up to one year, depending on environmental conditions and how often the container is opened.

Tips & practical advice

The container matters

Integra Boost performs best in truly airtight containers. Poor seals cause the pack to work against the surrounding environment, significantly reducing its lifespan.

“Daily jar” strategy

If you access your contents frequently, store the main quantity in a container that is opened as rarely as possible, and use a smaller daily-use container. Less air exchange means longer pack life.

Too dry? Go bigger

Using a larger pack or multiple packs is safe and effective. The system self-regulates, making this the easiest solution when smaller packs cannot keep up.

Suitable for food & sensitive aromatic products

Integra Boost packs are food-grade, salt-free (non-corrosive), and designed not to alter aromas, making them suitable for direct contact with consumable products.

Available variants:

  • 55% RH – 8g
  • 55% RH – 67g
  • 62% RH – 8g
