What is EM Super Cera C Powder?

EM Super Cera C is an ultra-fine powder made from EM-X ceramic. High-quality Japanese clay is fermented with Effective Microorganisms and EM-X Gold and then fired at very high temperatures. The result is a ceramic material that, according to the manufacturer, can support and stabilise the soil environment.

Why use it in productive gardening and horticulture?

In vegetable growing and productive horticulture, EM Super Cera C Powder is mainly used to support natural soil processes. Beneficial microorganisms can colonise the large surface area of the fine particles, organic fertilisers such as compost or bokashi are enhanced, and soil biology can develop in a more stable and balanced way.

Note: This is not a conventional fertiliser. EM Super Cera C provides virtually no nutrients itself, but is used as a soil and microbial support in combination with organic fertilisers or EM products.

Application & dosage (practical guidelines)

1) Soil & substrates (seed starting / potting soil)

• 2 tablespoons per 10 litres of soil, mix thoroughly
• Suitable for potting mixes, containers and seed-starting media

2) Bokashi (kitchen bokashi)

• Lightly dust each layer during filling and mix well
• Supports fermentation and helps prevent unwanted rotting processes

3) Compost

• Lightly dust when building or filling the compost pile
• Can stabilise decomposition and reduce unpleasant odours

4) Soil improvement in greenhouses / polytunnels

• 10 g per 100 m² (equivalent to 1 kg/ha) evenly applied
• Ideally follow with watering using a 2% EM solution

5) Lawns

• 10 g per 100 m² applied evenly
• Afterwards water in or irrigate using a 2% EM solution

Optional: tree trunk paste

• Mix powder 1:1 with EM-1 or a suitable garden & soil activator
• Apply to the base of the trunk, pruning cuts or damaged areas (common horticultural practice)

Important notes
