Magnesium fertilizer as an additive for stable photosynthesis and flower development
CANNA Mono Magnesium is a liquid magnesium additive designed to specifically supplement your base fertilization. Magnesium is a key component of chlorophyll and therefore essential for photosynthesis. In addition, the product supplies sulfur, which is required for enzyme function and protein formation.
If plants do not have enough magnesium available, metabolic processes often become unbalanced: energy production, nutrient transport, and growth can noticeably decline. With CANNA Mono Magnesium, magnesium and sulfur are supplied via irrigation water or the nutrient solution.
How to recognize a magnesium deficiency
Typical symptoms include yellowing between the leaf veins (often appearing first on older leaves) and overall weaker growth. Before increasing the dosage, it is also worth checking water quality and base fertilization, as several factors can cause similar symptoms.
Composition
The declared nutrient content is 7% MgO and 14% SO3.
Application and dosage
1–2 ml per 1 liter of water. Start with the lower dosage and increase only if necessary. Always dilute completely in water and mix thoroughly.
- Use as a supplement to the existing nutrient solution, not as a stand-alone fertilizer.
- After mixing, check and adjust pH/EC as usual.
Important mixing notes
An overdose of magnesium can impair calcium uptake. Therefore, avoid excessive application and do not mix the product directly (undiluted) with calcium-containing fertilizer concentrates.
