Athena Fade – nitrogen-free nutrition for the finishing stage

Athena Fade is a liquid mineral finisher that supplies calcium and micronutrients without nitrogen during late flowering. It is intended for growers who want to adjust their feeding programme as the crop approaches maturity. You can maintain these nutrient inputs rather than stop feeding altogether.

Switch from Pro Core to Fade alongside Pro Bloom

Within the Athena Pro feeding programme, Fade replaces Athena Pro Core for the finishing stage, while Athena Pro Bloom flowering fertiliser remains part of the mix. Fade is not a complete standalone fertiliser: it provides the nitrogen-free finishing component within the programme. This change stops the nitrogen input from Pro Core while maintaining a supply of calcium and trace elements.

Use Fade during the final 2–3 weeks of flowering, depending on your feeding schedule. Follow the appropriate Athena schedule and product label to determine when to start and how much to apply. Remember that other fertilisers may still add nitrogen; using Fade does not automatically make the entire nutrient solution nitrogen-free.

Mix correctly and recheck pH after switching

Shake the container before use and measure with clean equipment. Add the measured amount to water according to the feeding schedule. Do not mix Fade directly with other undiluted fertiliser concentrates.

Check EC regularly to monitor the electrical conductivity of your nutrient solution. Adjust pH only after all fertilisers and additives have been mixed in. Rechecking pH is particularly important when changing from Pro Core to Fade, as Fade is slightly more acidic than Pro Core.

Keep the product closed in its original packaging after use.
