Advanced Nutrients Rhino Skin – silicon support for stronger plants

Advanced Nutrients Rhino Skin is a liquid, mineral-based silicon supplement made with potassium silicate. It complements your feeding programme for indoor and outdoor growing, helping plants develop a stronger structure. Suitable for soil, coco coir and hydroponics, it can be used during both vegetative growth and flowering.

Stronger cell walls and sturdier stems

Silicon can be deposited in plant cell walls, helping to increase their strength. Rhino Skin provides a plant-available source of this element to support sturdier stems that can carry the weight of developing flowers. It also supports plant resilience when conditions become challenging, particularly during heat and drought.

Compatible with your feeding system

Rhino Skin works alongside Advanced Nutrients fertilisers and base nutrients from other manufacturers, including programmes with or without pH Perfect technology. As well as hand watering, it is suitable for continuous liquid-feed systems such as drip irrigation, deep water culture and flood-and-drain setups. It supplements your base feed rather than replacing a complete fertiliser.

Apply through the roots at 2 ml per litre

Add 2 ml of Rhino Skin per litre of water during vegetative growth and flowering, equivalent to 20 ml for 10 litres. Leave it out during the final flushing stage. Apply it through your irrigation water or nutrient solution so it reaches the roots; it is not intended for foliar feeding. Suitable measuring and dosing tools help you measure small quantities accurately.
