Is your water too hard?
You can do something about that.
As already mentioned, the pH value of tap water in many regions is often too high, so the water is therefore “too hard”.
In order to achieve the ideal irrigation water, the following
approach is advisable: Firstly, apply the desired nutrients to the tap water, as these themselves have an effect on the water’s pH value. Then, you can measure the pH value and use a pH correction preparation to bring it to the ideal level.
Tip: It is generally recommended to allow the tap water
to stand for 24 hours before adding fertiliser and
watering plants. In this way, things like chlorine deposits can escape, and the irrigation water can come to room temperature, which most plants appreciate.
