Probably the most important aspect is, of course, the right lighting. The output (watts) and light colour spectrum are of primary importance. More on this under “Lighting”.

Most grow lights require a so-called ballast for operation, which transforms the mains power supply for the lamp.

We also recommend using a reflector, which avoids unnecessary light scattering and directs as much light as possible towards the plant

In order to guarantee the necessary homogeneity in the day-night rhythm, it is advisable to control the ballast using a time control device (e.g. a timer).
