The pH control system from Advanced Hydroponics is one of the most flexible available and is also fully compatible with fertiliser systems from other manufacturers. In addition to a universally-applicable pH Up (increases pH value), Advanced Hydroponics also offer two different pH Downs. The reason for this seemingly complicated solution is that plants metabolise pH correction elements differently in different stages of their life cycle. As such, the pH correction of the irrigation water or nutrient solution can be optimised by using different products that take these conditions into account.

Advanced Hydroponics pH-Plus contains an acid (phosphoric acid), as well as special buffer substances, designed to optimally complement the needs of growing plants.
