Terra Aquatica pH-Down – lower pH and support nutrient solution stability
Terra Aquatica pH-Down is a liquid pH reducer for irrigation water and nutrient solutions. Suitable for soil, coco and hydroponics throughout growth and flowering, it gives beginners and experienced growers a way to adjust pH to suit their crop.
Three acids for adjustment and buffering
The formula brings together phosphoric acid, nitric acid and citric acid. Phosphoric and nitric acids provide the initial pH reduction, while citric acid helps buffer subsequent fluctuations. This supports a more stable nutrient solution, although regular pH checks remain necessary.
How to use and dose pH-Down
Start by measuring the pH of your water or prepared nutrient solution. Growmart offers pH meters for monitoring nutrient solutions. Add a small amount of pH-Down, mix thoroughly and test again. Continue making small adjustments until you reach the appropriate range for your crop.
There is no fixed dose in millilitres per litre: your pH readings determine how much to add. Pipettes and dosing accessories help you measure small quantities. Check your nutrient solution daily and make further adjustments only when needed. Dosing instructions for Terra Aquatica pH-Down Powder do not apply to this liquid formulation.
Safe handling and storage
Danger: Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Use suitable protective gloves and clothing, together with eye/face protection. Follow the safety instructions on the label and keep the product away from children. Store the container upright and securely closed in a cool, dry place.
