Terra Aquatica FlashClean – remove fertiliser salt build-up from media and systems

Terra Aquatica FlashClean is a liquid flushing and substrate maintenance solution for soil, coco and hydroponic systems. It helps you rinse away excess fertiliser salts and make cleaning part of your growing routine. Suitable for beginners and experienced growers, it can be used in both indoor and outdoor cultivation.

Substrate maintenance without an enzyme-based formula

Previously known as FloraKleen, FlashClean releases bonds between mineral salts and growing media so that residues can be flushed out. Its non-enzyme-based formula is suitable for vegetative growth and flowering. Do not use FlashClean more frequently than once every two weeks.

Dosing for soil and coco

Add 1.5–3 ml per litre of pH-adjusted water, choosing the lower rate for young or sensitive plants. Water until liquid drains from the bottom of the pot. Resume your normal feeding programme at the next watering.

Measuring cups and dosing syringes make it easier to measure the required quantity. Use suitable pH meters and regulators to check and adjust the water's pH.

Cleaning recirculating hydroponic systems

Before a routine nutrient solution change, add 1.5–3 ml/L to the existing solution. Circulate for 24 hours, then drain and replace with fresh nutrient solution.

After overfeeding or nutrient lockout, drain the reservoir first. Add FlashClean to pH-adjusted water at 1.5–3 ml/L and circulate this solution for 24 hours before replacing it with fresh nutrient solution.

Final flushing after the ripening stage

For soil and coco, use 3 ml/L instead of nutrients during the final two days before harvest. In hydroponic systems, replace the existing nutrient solution with pH-adjusted water containing 1.5–3 ml/L FlashClean and circulate for two days.

When using Terra Aquatica FinalPart, carry out this final flush after the FinalPart stage. Use the products sequentially, rather than mixing them together.
