The flexible ducting from Sonodec is a highly flexible, insulated ventilation hose. It stands out thanks to its sound insulation, opacity, and diffusion resistance. The air directed through this flexible ducting can not be heard, seen, nor smelled.

The flexible ducting has three layers. It consists of a perforated inner hose, a layer of insulating wool 2.5 centimetres thick, and a glass-reinforced exterior hose made of aluminium laminate. The clever structure of the ducting reduces the formation of condensation and minimises noise. Moreover, it also guarantees that whatever is directed through the ducting (gas, air, and dust particles) does not escape.

Generally, flexible ducting is fantastically suited for creating ventilation systems and for managing airflows. They are robust, flexible, and light. Flexible aluminium ducting is also an excellent choice for grow tent ventilation systems. The Sonodec flexible ducting allows warm and used air to be drawn away, to be replaced with fresh air.

Tip
If you are growing strong-smelling plants, you may also integrate a carbon filter into your extractor fan system. This ensures that any strong, unpleasant smells that may come from the tent are filtered out, meaning that the exhaust air is almost odourless.
